Welcome to VPIV

Open innovation seeks to associate key players in order to create value. It is the mix of entrepreneurs, ideas and research.

EPFL contributes to this by encouraging its most talented scientists and students to be in close contact with leading industries. The aim is to stimulate innovation through start-ups, collaborations with SMEs and partnerships with international firms.

The goal is to animate the Innovation Network on EPFL's campus, where companies, students and EPFL researchers work on their best ideas.

EPFL has a staff composed of experts in venture capital, international business development, SMEs, intellectual property negotiation and the management of high impact projects and multidisciplinary research.
